While creating an image with nothing but code is entirely possible, most people use a vector graphics editor like Inkscape or Adobe Illustrator. I’ve posted a screenshot of all the individual files that were generated above. Once you’ve arranged everything to your liking, go ahead and click Export Artboard to generate your files, then navigate over to your export destination to see how they came out. On the right-hand side of the menu you can choose the folder you’d like these design exported to, and beneath that you can choose which formats you’d like exported, at what scale, and if you’d like a suffix added to the name. As you can see above, I changed the names of each artboard to represent which logo variation each design represents. The files you generate will reflect the names of your artboards, so be sure to name them accordingly. You can choose not to export particular artboards by unchecking them, and you can rename your artboards by highlighting the text under the thumbnail and manually typing in whatever you’d like the file name to be. To export these images, access the Export for Screens menu by navigating to File > Export > Export for Screens or by pressing control + alt + e on your keyboard. We should now have each individual image to be exported arranged on its own individual artboard… What that means is that SVGs look great at any size and they are completely compatible with Adobe Captivate. The advantage of SVGs is that they are relatively small in file size but they are also vector graphics. Access the Export for Screens control panel by going to the main menu bar in Illustrator then selecting File > Export > Export for screens or by typing Command + Option + E on Mac, or Control + Alt + E on Windows.
